Lisa Phillips is the author of the forthcoming book, Written Off. Her business, “Coaching Children Towards Significance and Success,” bridges her spiritual life story about overcoming the wounds left by the lifelong rejection of her mother, whom she affectionately calls, “Mama” in her book, and coaching today’s children who also lack vital life skills such as lack of confidence, identity issues, low self-esteem, losses, major changes like divorce, fear of failure, the ups and downs of life, and others. Her desire is to catch children before they reach adulthood to teach them the skills needed to reach their goals and dreams in life. Because Lisa has walked the road of rejection, she can identify with teens and adults in their angst, their loss, and emotional struggle when one or both parents step back from his or her life.
Lisa’s God-given dream is to help the rejected son or daughter (whether a teen or adult) understand the concepts of the Spirit of Rejection, a theme woven throughout her book, because if we don’t know our enemy of this debilitating spirit and how it emotionally hinders our lives from childhood into adulthood, we won’t overcome and walk in our God-given destiny. Lisa found victory from the spirit of rejection and now is passionate about sharing how the Lord used two specific Scripture passages for her breakthrough.
