5-Session MePower™ Package
How to Develop Soaring Self-esteem and Powerful Self-confidence
The MePower™ package is all about building strong self-esteem and self-confidence in your child from the inside out so that he/she learns how to develop belief in themselves even when she feels anxious, nervous or afraid to try something new, or experienced a setback or a disappointment that has rattled their confidence.
This skill book teaches your child about the power of high self-esteem and how “what we think about ourselves” can impact what we create in our lives.
Self-esteem is defined as “how you feel about yourself.” What is is your opinion of yourself?
Kids with low self-esteem tend to get down on themselves and they often experience the “grungies” (a concept your child will learn). They often don’t feel like they are “OK” and feel like something is wrong with them. They may feel self-conscious, lack of self-confidence, and often feel that circumstances control their life. They are often:
- More likely to stay in their comfort zone with limited and/or negative thinking
- More likely to believe criticism from others, experiencing it as a “put-down.”
- More likely to be influenced by negative peer pressure.
- Less likely to achieve their goals.
Kids with high self-esteem do feel good about themselves. They are comfortable in their own skin, confident and in control. They are:
- More likely to go for their dream.
- More likely to use criticism as a learning opportunity.
- More likely to stay true to their own values and stand up to peer pressure
- More likely to achieve their goals.
Self-esteem not only impacts how your child feels about herself, but also how she relates to other people, how she handles obstacles in her life, and what she achieves in her life.
For this reason, I’m committed to helping your son or daughter develop a stronger self-esteem that is critical for success in school and in life.
